Terminal Convention was an internationally significant art, film, music and discursive event – the big difference being that it was held in Cork’s de-commissioned airport. Curated by Peter Gorschlüter, Deputy Director of MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst and Static Gallery – the project ran for a week in March 2011.

Being let loose in the frankly spooky disused terminal for 48 hours on a reconnaissance trip allowed us to respond to the brief by reacting to the environment. The visual brand language took direct references from the 60s modernist architecture and interiors – reflecting modular techniques and repeat patterns.
